Target group:   Students in electrical engineering and computer engineering
Prerequisites:   For the projects carried out by the institute of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Schmidt, fundamental knowledge of system theory and common sense is required. Attendance of the lectures and exercises of "Advanced Signals and Systems" and "Advanced Digital Signal Processing" is strongly recommended.
Registration procedure:   The registration of the lab is organized the LNS group.
Time:  
  • On Wednesdays: 14:00 - 18:00 h
  • On Thursday: 14:00 - 18:00 h

Alexej Namenas - A New Guy in the Team

In June Alexej Namenas started in the DSS Team. He will work on real-time tracking algorithms for SONAR applications. Alexej has done both theses (Bachelor and Master) with us. The Bachelor thesis in audio processing (beamforming) and the Master thesis in the medical field (real-time electro- and magnetocardiography). In addition, he has intership erperience in SONAR processing.
